Roderik studied political science and history in Bonn and Heidelberg. As an editor and journalist, he reported on daily federal politics from Berlin for various news programmes (including arte info and ARD Morgenmagazin). He gained experience in political communications in the press office of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development. There, he helped oversee the launch of the “Grunes Knopf” (Green Button), a seal of quality for sustainably produced textiles, as well as the passing of the Supply Chain Act. This was followed by his move to the Foreign Trade Association of German Retailers as Head of Sustainability and Foreign Trade.

At SKM, he will work at the interface of public affairs and public relations.
