SKM Consultants expands its negotiation training services

As of 1 January 2022, Andreas Zinkhan will join the SKM team as a freelance consultant and trainer.

The 53-year-old entrepreneur holds investments in a number of different companies. Previously, as Senior Director of Sales and head of the Berlin branch of the sports marketing agency Sportfive, Zinkhan was responsible for sponsorship and sales for the Bundesliga football club Hertha BSC Berlin and the Olympic Stadium Berlin.

In addition to his work as a negotiation trainer, he will further develop the company’s methodical approach together with SKM managing director Carsten Deuster. Over the years Zinkhan has got to know SKM from a client’s perspective, and will bring his many years of experience in preparing and managing negotiations to the company.

“I am convinced that SKM’s negotiation model is an extremely useful aid for clients – from various different industries – who find themselves in difficult negotiation situations,” says Zinkhan. “I am looking forward to combining my experience, drawn from many rounds of tough negotiations, with SKM’s expertise in communication.”

Commenting on the news, Carsten Deuster, SKM’s Managing Partner, said: “We are thrilled to have found an extraordinarily experienced partner in Andreas Zinkhan for the expansion of our training and consulting portfolio. By continuing with his business activities on the side, he will ensure that we receive constant feedback on our methodological approach to negotiations.”

SKM’s negotiation training serves to prepare participants for complex negotiation situations. It offers participants the opportunity to critically question and further develop their own negotiation techniques on both a strategic and tactical level, as well as in terms of its impact. The SKM model combines elements from different negotiation schools and allows for the flexible deployment of negotiation teams both strategically and tactically. SKM’s own tactical formula, the ‘Double F-TRAP’, will also be used.
