For the Düsseldorf office, SKM Consultants has been able to recruit Anja Gerber, an expert with many years of experience in corporate communications. The 53-year-old is a communications scientist and has held various management positions in corporate communications. Most recently, Gerber was responsible for internal communications in the Industrial Solutions unit at thyssenkrupp. At SKM Consultants, Anja Gerber will cover the entire spectrum of internal and external communications as a senior consultant.

In the Berlin office, consultant Oskar Burmann has been strengthening the team at the interface of Public Affairs and Corporate Communications since February. Previously, the 30-year-old worked as a communications and public relations officer at the Central Association of the German Poultry Industry. In this position, Burmann, who studied an M.A. in communications management, was responsible for the external presentation of the German egg industry and the coordination of a sales promotion campaign sponsored by the EU Commission.

Also in Berlin, Kateryna Shved is starting as a junior consultant. A native of Ukraine, she will support the team in the area of Corporate Communications. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in political science from Free University of Berlin in 2020 and has experience in political campaigns and customer relationship management.
